A lost key might sound like a minor inconvenience, but when you're in a covered parking lot surrounded by other vehicles on all sides, it turns into a real problem fast. You can't just call a buddy with a trailer. You need someone who knows how to work in a confined space without clipping a bumper or scraping a support post.
Here's what we were working with - a black Lexus RX tucked into a numbered covered parking spot, with vehicles parked on both sides and structural posts limiting every angle of approach. No room to mess around. Getting a full-size luxury SUV out of that setup without contact damage takes the right equipment and a driver who's done this before.
We used a wheel-lift setup with dolly wheels under the rear axle. That combination lets us maneuver a vehicle that can't steer on its own - which is exactly the situation you're in with no key. The Lexus got lifted cleanly, maneuvered out of the row, and we were on our way to the dealership without a scratch on it.
Towing a luxury vehicle to a dealer is a different kind of job than a standard breakdown tow. The finish matters. The wheels matter. How you strap it matters. We take that seriously every time, whether it's a Lexus, a BMW, or anything else that the owner has put real money into.
Lost keys, dead batteries, mechanical failures - whatever the reason your car can't move on its own, we can get it where it needs to go safely. That's what we do.
